A little about myself. I have been a Christian most of my life but for almost 22 years, had left my religious convictions behind. Back in 1999, my son invited me to the church he was attending for a special music concert they were having. I loved the church from my very first visit and have attended regularly ever since. TVC was a life saver for me. I grew up in a typical Baptist church and went because I had too. When I became an adult, I quit going all together, figuring I could handle life on my own. Through a series of events, which I now know why occurred I found myself feeling very lost and alone. God gave me my life back through TVC. The warm atmosphere of acceptance, the fantastic worship music and band, (I felt like I was 16 and at church camp again) and just an over all "FUN" experience has kept me coming back. I have even found myself wanting to get involved, using my talents where I can. Thank you God and TVC!
I found what was missing in my life, and have rededicated myself to the Lord. I'm not sure yet what purpose God has in store for me yet but I continue to listen with an open heart and hope that I hear him when he calls.
I volunteer at our church as our webmaster and in a small way I hope I can
touch someone through that work. I had forgotten just how many blessings that God has bestowed on me and my family over the last 26 years. Even when I was ignoring him, the blessings continued to flow. I am a very successful Engineer in the Automotive Plastics Injection Molding Industry and I am very thankful to God for that.
A
number of years ago, at age 36, I had bypass surgery to my left arm and surgery on my left Carotid Artery due to a 75% blockage. This was accidentally found during an
angiogram to try and unblock the artery to my left arm. I was well on my way to a stroke or worse at a very early age had this not been caught. Once again the Lord was watching out for me! I did not have my finances taken care and my family would not have been taken care of so I thank the Lord for giving me the time to do that before something like that happened. Now I face life with renewed vigor and zest and I know God will take care of everything, come what may.
God is good, ALL the time, and ALL the time, God is good! Jesus is Lord! Are you ready for his return? Don't be left behind!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 (NIV)
Receiving Christ as your savior is not a difficult thing. As stated in the bible, all you have to do is acknowledge you are a sinner, ask his forgiveness, confess he is Lord and accept him as your savior and you will be forever changed! Make that simple prayer and you will be welcomed into his arms for eternity!
