Golden Reflections Sig Tag Tutorial This tutorial was created on February 15, 2004. If it bears any resemblance to another tutorial on the net, it is pure coincidence. The skills that you will learn here are your own, and I hope that you will find them useful. In this tutorial, I will assume that you have a basic working knowledge of PSP, and it is made for upper level beginners or intermediate skill levels. Materials:
Instructions:
Open a new image 400 x 500 transparent.
Using your selection tool create a circle that fills approximately the upper two thirds of the image.

Add a new raster layer. Rename this layer "tube".
Resize your tube so that it fills about 2/3 of the upper gold circle. Use your mover tool to position it where you want it to be.

Add a new raster layer.
Now we need to add hinges to our plates. Draw a small rounded rectangle and fill with gold fill. Apply same Inner bezel effect as used previously. Select/Select none.
Using your magic wand, click somewhere outside of your new rectangle, Selections/Invert. Move this hinge into a position that looks like the image below.
With the hinge still selected, Edit/Copy. Selections/Select None.

Apply a drop shadow using the following settings: Offset V=21 H=5/Opacity 48/Blur 6.0/Color #000000 "black".
You should now have something like this.
Merge/Merge Visible. Save as a .psp image for later use.
Add a new raster layer. Choose a foreground and background color from your picture. I used #C14580 and #FBE0F2.
Choose your font. I used FleurishScript, floating, size 72, anti-alias checked, stroke 3, and add the desired text, leave selected.
