Summer is winding down now but the foliage in the pond is really at it's peak during this time.  The water hyacinths although an annual in the north, are at peak last summer and early fall.  The creek is now over run with lots water crest.  It's sometimes hard to imagine that just a few short months ago all this starts from just few plants and nature does the rest.
