Our Pond Winter 2001
Winter came on with a vengeance this year. On December 22nd it was still 45 degrees and completely green. Unfortunately, here in Michigan when that happens and Lake Michigan is still warm, we get nailed with lake effect snows. As of today (Dec. 29, 2001) we have about 36" inches on the ground. The pond is gone under a blanket of snow and ice.
